Christmas Celebrations!

Hello! I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays. We had a wonderful time at my parents house. The kids and I spent the night before Christmas Eve at their house so we could help out with the Christmas Eve dinner the next day. My kids totally enjoyed sleeping over at grandmas' house.. haha. So much so that they asked to do it again! This weekend =)

The kids posing in front of the tree!

Only a few more days till the new year. Any goals/ resolutions in the works? I'd love to hear them! For me, i'm hoping to be more active and eat healthier. For the crafty dept. I'd like to start and finish a year in my daughters' scrapbook. I think i have enough papers to work with.. hahaha

thanks for stopping by!

Kids Birthdays

So last week we celebrated both my kids birthdays. My son is Dec 7 and my daughter is Dec 11. It made sense to do it on one day instead of two. Well at least for now when they are young, but i'm pretty sure they will want thier own party with their own friends as they grow older.

Here are some pics =)

 They are 5 and 4.

Sometimes they can be normal and pose without moving!

Birthday cakes! One for each, since one of them does not eat fruits!

Smiling for the camera before they blow out the candles!

We went out for dinner beforehand then we came back home for cake and presents.
Only 6 days left til Christmas!! Are your decorations up? Presents all shopped and wrapped? I have 1 last gift to get, i'm hitting the mall on Tuesday as my hubby is not working, so maybe i'll get him to watch the kids =)
Have a great week!

Busy kinda weekend...

The weather has been getting kinda nippy lately!
We've had frost the last few nights. We might just get a white Christmas!

Sorry I haven't been keeping up to date on blogging. My son got the sniffles and coughs, which he passed on to his sister and this time around i caught the bug too!  First time i've been really sick this year. =(
Happy to say we are all doing better now. Just in time for their birthdays too! ;D
This year we are just going out with family to celebrate thier birthdays and then having cakes at our house afterwards. ( we are going tonight!)

My daughter has 1 week left before winter break, so we started making some Christmas cards for her classmates. Heres a card i made for her teacher.

Paper by Simple Stories and some bakers twine.

Hope everyone is keeping warm! Thanks for stopping by =)
